Certified Ventilation Inspector
NADCA’s Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) certification was developed to recognize those industry professionals involved in the inspection of HVAC systems. CVI certified individuals are qualified to perform inspection of commercial HVAC systems. The CVI certification enhances one’s professional development and is a world‐wide credential recognizing one’s knowledge and skills related to HVAC system hygiene and inspection. In order to sit for the CVI Certification Exam, an individual must hold an active Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification. NADCA worked with independent test development experts and industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) engaged in the practice of HVAC system inspection to perform a job task analysis for the CVI certification. The job task analysis ensures the credential reflects the most current practices in the industry and properly reflects the knowledge, skills and abilities required for inspection of commercial HVAC systems.

Why inspect your HVAC system?
Why inspect your HVAC system?
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the air inside the average home is up to five times more polluted than the air outside. Results from in-home air tests across North America support this government finding. Nearly every home (96%) had at least one indoor air quality problem: 86% had high levels of particles and bioaerosols like dust, pollen and viruses - 71% were filled with odors and potentially harmful chemicals and gases.
Biological pollutants, including molds, bacteria, viruses, pollen, dust mites, and animal dander promote poor indoor air quality and may be a major cause of days lost from work and school. In homes and office buildings, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems are frequent sources of biological substances that are inhaled, leading to breathing problems.

We can highly recommend A Plus Enviro-Services as a super friendly and professional contractor who helped us tremendously with a recent inspection of our house's air duct/vent system. As unknowing Europeans, we had fallen victim to some Coupon scammers who charged an arm and a leg for work they hadn't performed. Thanks to Mr. Hernandez we were able to proof this as was needed to get our money back. There is no doubt in our mind that we will continue to use Mr. Hernandez's services in the future - and so should you.
